- You Will be involved in the cell planning/optimization work of WCDMA/HSPA(+) commercial network deployments, including planning, initial tunning, driving test, test data analysis, parameter changes/optimization, etc. to meet KPI tarkets and pass the network acceptance tests. All of this work will be done together with cell planning/optimization group.
- Present WCDMA solutions (sometime may include GSM and other networks) to operators or on a conference, negotiate with operators.
- Work very closely with cell planning/optimization group and answer possible questions from them. Also transfer the knowledge to the team. Suggestions on developing necessary internal tools for optimizatoin work, etc.
- Research/pre-study
on LTE cell planning/optimization issues to be prepared for future network
deployments/upgrades.
Skills
Cell planning, initial tuning & optimization. Statistical analyses, collection of drive test data, analyze scanner / drive test data and make proper changes to the network in order to meet expected KPI:s. Parameter Audit & Benchmarking and suggest parameter changes. Familiar with RRM (radio resource management: handover, congestion/admission control, etc.) algorithms. Have experiences for HSDPA/HSUPA network planning and optimization. Pre-studied LTE network. Technical discussions with operators for bidding support.
