You will be working at the System Management unit. You will have an important role in the LTE development and your contributions will have a clear impact on the end result.
Your task will be to set requirements on radio characteristics including radio performance and to be a standardization delegate in 3GPP RAN WG5. The product has to fulfill both regulatory requirements (core requirements as 3GPP) and performance requirements. Your task includes developing and writing RAN 5 contributions, reviewing internal and external contributions and attending 3GPP RAN 5 standardization meetings. 3GPP RAN WG5 works on the specification of conformance testing at the Radio interface (Uu) for the User Equipment (UE). In particular you will be part of a team that is responsible for the development of radio resource management, receiver and transmitter characteristics conformance tests for FDD and TDD in coordination with the other relevant RAN working groups.
